Your playing of the hammer dulcimer is outstanding. I am an intermediate hd player and you really have command of the hd.

Bought two of your CD's at the Renaissance Festival last weekend and wished I had bought more of them! Wonderful music! I will check out your website for the ones I missed out on. Also, have you ever considered performing at the Clifton Opera house in Clifton, Ohio? Beautiful old stage with wonderful acoustics. Usually a small following and very intimate with the audience. Thanks for the lovely music dude!

Listened to you live today (Ohio Renaissance Festival) and again on the recordings I purchased. Your craft is well-honed, your tonalities ethereal. You truly "sing" through your instruments with a clarity and passion that is truly a joy; your talents continue to give and give. Thank you -- and may blessings flow through you and to you as you continue to share this God-given talent with others.

Hey Kyle,
Received the CD's yesterday. Thanks for the FAST shipping. I hope my comment will do them justice. Your talent just astounded me. Love Will You Marry Me CD is simply wonderful. The song, Cripple Creek, made me think of my visits to my grandparents house in W.Va as a child. I can almost smell the wood burning stoves as I listened to it. Your original song, Trip Down the Nile,is my favorite. You did a beautiful job creating it. The flute in Man of Constant Sorrow is flawless.
Your Solos CD really shows just how talented you are. What a wonderful mix of songs. From Beatles to Irish to Appalachian to Scottish. This Cd will satisfy anybody's taste in music.
Your Comfort & Joy Cd has just replaced my Nutcracker Cd as my favorite to get me in the holiday spirit. O Holy Night has been my favorite Christmas song my whole life. You definitely cemented it even more in my heart. Bring a Torch Jeanette Isabella...oh my...what a beautiful song. You & Tisa McGraw have created a classic holiday Cd. I just can't say enough about your music. I am definitely going to order your Spotted Pony Cd. I hope you plan on recording more in the very near future.

Hi Kyle,
Met you at Country Living Fair on Saturday. Thank you for taking the time to introduce me to the dulcimer. I'm the Mary that is just learning the folk harp. You played Silver Bells for me . . .
I love the Christmas CD. I almost can't wait for it to snow!
Thanks for such wonderful music,

Hi Kyle-
I got these CDs for you a while back, to give to my dad for Father's Day. I just wanted to let you know that we both absolutely ADORE THEM. The traditional Irish and Appalachian tunes are absolutely fantastic--familiar, and fun in these new interpretations--and the original songs and arrangements are incredible (we especially love Morgan's Retreat!). The Road to Lisdoonvarna has been a favorite of mine for a very long time, and hearing the way your group plays it just makes me smile and smile!.
"Love Will You Marry Me?" hasn't left my car CD player since I stole it from Dad, and he's been listening to "Spotted Pony" nonstop. I just wanted to thank you for these great recordings and the chance to hear them. Dad has decided that his goal this year is to learn claw-hammer banjo fingerpicking, and I'm trying to learn some of those fantastic rolls and reels myself. What a brilliant set of CDs and what a joy to listen to.
Thanks again, and I hope you're having a great summer,
Katie M.

This album, "Comfort and Joy", filled with the comfort of well-known/loved carols, provided the perfect introspective backdrop to all of my holiday
activities; I could just feel the stress slip away as the music
drifted around my home.

Kyle,
All I can say is Comfort & Joy is the best, most soothing, tastefully arranged Christmas cd I have ever heard. This is a long overdo project and someone should turn you over their knee for not doing it sooner . . .
God Bless you and your family!

Kyle,
Deb and I are enjoying "Comfort and Joy". It is music from a simpler time...beautifully arranged and performed. I remember the early days when you were plucking out tunes on your first dulcimer. I believe the woodstove served as your 'table', and homemade marinara sauce simmered on the stove. That was the start of great things. :) Thanks for sharing this with the world.
Happy holidays to all of you on the farm,
Ted

Hi.
Thanks for the quick service. I love the Christmas CD, it's great. But I am a big fan of yours anyway. I first heard you at Christ Hospital in 2001 playing in the halls. At that time my Mom was dying and we found so much comfort in listening to you play. Thanks for your great music. Have a Happy Holiday and I will hopefully see you next year at the Renaissance Fest.
Thanks so much Arlene

Hello, Kyle, I received "Comfort and Joy" in the mail, this week. The tunes are soothing and beautiful. I especially like Silent Night, O Holy Night and Silver Bells. It's the kind of music to listen to over hot chocolate bundled up at night while watching the snow fall outside the windows.
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Kyle,
Thank you so much for sending "Comfort and Joy" so quickly! The title really says it all. It is very well done and so soothing! Your two instruments are made for each other...especially for this gentle style. You and Tisa certainly are on the same page, musically.
I would like to order two more CDs...they make nice Christmas gifts.
Again, many thanks for this most lovely CD!

I absolutely love your music, I listen to it while I draw in my room. If I was allowed to bring in my CD player, I would listen to it at school! I think it is so soothing, to just get away from all the loud talking at my middle school. I hope to see you next year in the '09 season!

Hi Kyle,
I'm at work as I write this, listening to Woodsongs show 388. I'm a H.D. player who, until 6 years ago, lived in Michigan. I was always upfront and center at Evart's annual dulcimer festival, where I also taught dulcimer workshops as well as clogging workshops. I live in Sweden now, and mine is the only duclimer in all of Sweden, as far as I know. So, without anyone to play with, I sometimes lose the motivation and inspriation to play. However, after hearing you play tunes from your CD, "Love, Will You Marry Me", I'm eagar to get home and get out my dulcimer again, and I'm planning to buy your CDs to keep me inspired. Thanks for the inspiration as well as the beautiful music that I was able to hear thanks to Woodsongs archives!

I listened to you play your music at the Renaissance Festival today and enjoyed it very much. The sound puts me in a a peaceful trance. I bought a CD, Hammered Dulcimer Solos, and listened to it all the way home. Your music is soothing to the soul. Ever thought of combining your music with video of mountains or nature scenes? Thanks for what you do.

We met you at the Renaissance festival this past fall and bought your CDs. My husband and 9-year-old son are your biggest fans. Spotted Pony is our favorite; our sons do their homework to it. My husband wants another Spotted Pony for when this one wears out. I can't tell you how much we love your music. We will seek you out for your performances (and more CDs) before the year's end. You have a great talent. What a great gift! Thank you and Merry Christmas! Donna

Dear Kyle,
far away in Germany/Europe I had the opportunity to listen to and watch your concert at the Woodsongs Radio show. Because I loved your playing and the sound of the hammered dulcimer, I ordered all your CDs immediately and received them only a few days later.
I have to tell you that I like each track on each CD you sent me. Your playing of the hammered dulcimer is very tastefull and makes me feel a kind of inner peace and joy. Also my wife and my daughter like your music very much. Each record is a great collection of beautiful melodies. Highly recommended!
I hope you will go on making music and bring joy to all people that will listen to you.
Greetings from Germany to Kentucky

I just loooove the
positive energy in it!!..when i listen to your
music i kinda get whisked away to the past and get a
true sense of the emotions of the past when people
needed and relied on each other more and enjoyed each
others company a lot more..and can feel the true
appreciation of the simpler things in life that we
take for granted now..(A nice warm fire, a good
meal, etc. etc. etc.)..Thank you and i hope a lot of
people tell you this and it motivates you all the more to
keep going!!!..I've researched this musical style and so far yours is the most real for me.
Great Site

Just wanted to express my enjoyment of your music last night at Woodsongs.
I have always enjoyed the hammered dulcimer music. Perhaps at 49 it is something to begin in my heart!
Have been around so many wonderful musicians-I was a founding board member and secretary of the board of directors for the Master Musicians Festival in Somerset for 10 years.
As a family nurse practitioner- ( and an accupressure/quantum energy healer, native american student etc) I experience the healing power of music.
Blessings and energy to you and your walk

We're enjoying listening to you on Woodsongs now! (Well, not right now, as Beppe is talking, but now as in this hour in front of ye olde radio. OK, it's the computer.) Very cool, Kyle (and Brian). We even clapped. Actually, that was kind of strange, but we are enthusiastic fans and that's the point, isn't it?
